Save Mart and Lucky Announce Their Biggest-Ever Fuel Discount: Up to $1 Off Per Gallon

MODESTO, Calif. (July 15, 2026) – Save Mart and Lucky are putting real money back in Rewards Members’ pockets this summer – up to $1 off per gallon at the pump, for a limited time. It's the biggest fuel discount the popular California and Western Nevada grocers have ever offered. Starting today through September 15, the companies are raising the cap tenfold on how many Rewards points members can redeem per fill-up, from 100 points (10¢ off) to 1,000 points (up to $1 off per gallon) at participating Shell stations. Members can also earn 4X points on eligible items through August 11, helping them reach fuel savings even faster. It's a welcome boost just as peak summer travel begins.

How it Works

·      Shop at participating Save Mart or Lucky stores and enter your Save Mart Rewards or Lucky Rewards phone number at checkout to earn points on qualifying purchases (exclusions apply). No app or coupon required.

·      Every $1 spent on qualifying purchases earns 1 point, and every 100 points equals 10¢ off per gallon – for example, 500 points saves 50¢ off per gallon. During this limited-time offer, members can redeem up to 1,000 points for up to $1 off per gallon at participating Shell stations, limited to 20 gallons per fill-up with qualifying fuel (up to $20 in total savings).

·      At participating Shell stations, simply enter your Save Mart Rewards or Lucky Rewards phone number to redeem savings.

·       Want to save even faster? Through August 11, members also earn 4X points on participating items each week (see full terms for eligible items and offer details). Look for the tag in stores or the Save Mart and Lucky weekly ads.

Membership is free. Customers can join Save Mart Rewards or Lucky Rewards by downloading the Save Mart or Lucky apps, by visiting www.savemart.com/rewards or www.luckysupermarkets.com/rewards, or by signing up in-store. Sign-up takes just minutes. The expanded fuel benefit applies automatically to those currently enrolled in the Rewards programs – no further action is needed.
