Sand City Lucky California, located on California Ave., won a Monterey Bay Air Resources District 2019 Clean Air Leaders award!
The store was nominated by Sand City Mayor, Mary Ann Carbone, for demonstrating exemplary leadership in working towards improving outdoor air quality in the community through the store’s electric vehicle charging stations.
The awards ceremony was held on May 16th at the Wedgewood Carmel event center. Store Manager, Jamie Chavez, accepting the Monterey Bay Air Resources District’s 2019 Clean Air Leaders leadership award.
The Monterey Bay Air Resources District recognizes individuals, organizations and companies who demonstrate leadership by their actions, in ensuring good air quality. By recognizing these leaders, the air district hopes to inspire more people and organizations to make a positive impact on air quality, and even more initiatives to be undertaken.
