Joan Dobias-Davis is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for The Save Mart Companies reporting to Shane Sampson, Executive Chairman. Joan oversees all aspects of human resources strategy including talent acquisition, learning and leadership development, total rewards, workforce planning, and employee relations for over 14,000 team members.
Joan brings more than 25 years of human resources and employee relations expertise in the manufacturing, e-commerce, distribution, and retail grocery industries. Her prior experience includes both operational and progressive human resources roles at Amazon, Supervalu, Albertsons, and Winn-Dixie. Most recently, Joan was the Human Resources Leader for Switzerland-based Tetra Pak Inc., overseeing the human resource function in North, Central and South America.
Joan holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in human resources and employment relations from Pennsylvania State University.
