Local Save Mart store managers proudly presented Boys & Girls Club of Stanislaus County a CARES Foundation grant of $10,000!
This grant will go towards funding Triple Play, a comprehensive health and wellness initiative thriving to improve the overall health of members between ages 6 – 18yrs by increasing dialed physical activity, teaching them good nutrition and helping to develop healthy relationships.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County inspires and empowers all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring individuals by providing community-based, safe, and affordable programs during after school and summer hours as an alternative to being home alone or on the streets.
The Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S. Foundation donated more than $300,000 last year to nearly three dozen organizations in California and Northern Nevada. CARES stands for Community, Arts, Recreation, Education and Sports and focuses on improving lives under these categories.
