National Night Out 2017

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community partnerships. Such neighborhood camaraderie aims to make our neighborhoods a safer and more caring place to live. National Night Out also enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

Two of our stores participated in their local NNO events: Lucky California in Daly City and FoodMaxx in San Jose. The store managers connected with residents and city leaders.

Store Manager Joe Rodriguez with San Jose City Councilwoman Rosemary Carrasco and San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo.

In San Jose, Joe Rodriguez from the Monterey Highway FoodMaxx gave away Shares information and apple/banana coupons. On top of that, the banner donated the hamburgers and hot dogs served at the event.

In Daly City, Randy Sentachi broke out a spin wheel where contestants could in prizes in between meeting law enforcement. The famous Daly City fog hovered over the event at Serramonte Center, but the event was still fun.

Both managers say they look foward to next year!
