Local FoodMaxx Store Manager, Andy Butler, presented a $25,000 C.A.R.E.S. Foundation donation to Women’s Empowerment during their 70th graduation session.
Based out of Sacramento, Women’s Empowerment is a nonprofit that is dedicated to ending homelessness one woman, one family, at a time. Women’s Empowerment educates and empowers homeless women through programs that help build the necessary skills and confidence to get employment, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and help regain a home for themselves and their children.
