With so many college students back in our community for the new school year, Turlock FoodMaxx, located at 1845 Countryside Drive, teamed up with California State University Stanislaus, to help combat the rising issue of student hunger.

Foodmaxx is providing collection bins, located inside the store,  for customers to donate food and other items that are essential to help students to succeed this academic year.  These donations will go directly to the Warrior Food Pantry Project that provides non-perishable food items and toiletries at no cost to Stan State students in need.  In addition, any student with a valid Stanislaus State student ID, will receive a 5% discount on all their FoodMaxx purchases.

“We are proud to continue this partnership to combat this issue and help our local students to achieve academic success.”- Mike Naranjo, Turlock FoodMaxx Store Manager.

In 2018, The Save Mart Companies’ CARES Foundation donated $10,000 to the Warriors Food Pantry.
