Foster City Lucky Supermarket, located on 919 Edgewater Blvd., held a cereal drive for the Samaritan House this past weekend.
The Samaritan House’s League of New Samaritan volunteers stood in front of the store and collected monetary donations and three full shopping carts of cereal, oatmeal, granola, peanut butter, juice and more! Money donated was used to purchase more cereal from Lucky. Food will be distributed to children throughout San Mateo County to help start their school day right- with a healthy breakfast!
The Samaritan House provides social services to low-income and at-risk individuals and families throughout San Mateo County. They help mobilize resources to help those in need.
