Fresno Save Mart, located on W Nees Ave., partnered with the Fresno Grizzlies, Fowler Packaging/PEELZ Mandarins, ABC 30 and Chukchansi Casino and Resort, to surprise local, community residents during Senior Shopping Hours by paying for their groceries.
Customer received a $50 gift card at the doors beginning at 6am. Even the Grizzlies very own Packer made a special appearance and helped hand out gift cards!
The event was a huge success. Customers lined up at the doors to receive their gift card along with a free bag of Peelz Mandarins and a case of water.
“Many of our Fresno friends and neighbors are struggling right now,” said Store Manager Jason Smith. “We are Valley Proud to work with our community partners, the Grizzlies, Peelz Mandarins and Chukchansi, today and lend a helping hand during these difficult times.”
