Fresno Save Mart, located on 659 E Nees Ave., presented a $10,000 C.A.R.E.S. Foundation grant to Community Food Bank.

For the last 25 years, Community Food Bank has been working to end hunger in the Central California. Community Food Bank serves 28,000 people each month, including 100,000 children, and collaborates with a network of more than 220 partner organizations.

The Save Mart Companies has been a long time partner with Community Food Bank and this C.A.R.E.S. funding will go towards eliminating hunger by contributing to a new distribution center in Fresno.

CARES stands for Community, Arts, Recreation, Education and Sports and focuses on improving lives under these categories. The Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S.
