Lucky Supermarkets and popular radio station KMEL teamed up to host a holiday drive today (November 10) to benefit Bay Area families in need and the NorCal fire victims. From 6:00 am to 10 am, the Sana G Morning Crew encouraged listeners to drop by the Lucky store on  Mission Blvd in Downtown Hayward to donate. All non-perishable food donations went to the Alameda County Community Food Bank; and all cash donations went to the American Red Cross, which is directing fire relief efforts for residents devastated by the recent wildfires in Sonoma and Napa counties. Overall, it was a successful event, thanks to the generosity of so many people.
