The Save Mart Companies (TSMC) is committed to the communities our stores serve. We partner with local community organizations, like the Second Harvest Food Bank of San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties, that provide essential services and programs that help nourish our communities. This past weekend, TSMC presented the Second Harvest Food Bank a Give.Share.Care! donation of over $35,600!
Give.Share.Care! is TSMC’s annual holiday giving campaign. All Save Mart and FoodMaxx stores participated in this year’s campaign to help boost monetary donations to local food banks during the holiday season. At checkout, customers were offered $2, $3 or $5 coupon options that were then added to their grocery bills- 100% of all donations went directly to local food banks.
Second Harvest Food Bank of San Joaquin & Stanislaus Counties is committed to fighting hunger by providing and distributing food to those in need and feeding hope by recognizing the diversity of those we serve and treating each individual with dignity and respect. Through their community partners, Second Harvest Food Bank provides hope and deliver life-sustaining meals to those in need.
This year, our customers helped donate over $300,000 to our local food banks! Thank you to all who donated and made this year’s holiday giving campaign a huge success!
