On Tuesday, May 29, the Save Mart team presented a certificate of appreciation to Detective Bolinger for his dedication in keeping our communities safe.
While off-duty and grocery shopping at the Modesto Save Mart located on Oakdale and Scenic, Detective Randy Bolinger and another concerned citizen stepped in and chased down a suspect who stole an elderly customer’s purse in the store.
As a thank you, the Save Mart team presented a certificate of appreciation to Detective Bolinger and the Modesto Police Department accompanied with a Save Mart gift card and a platter of delicious assorted cookies.
The Modesto Police Department also thanked the young gentlemen who helped bring down the suspect by buying him and his family their weekly groceries from Save Mart.
