Lucky Supermarkets was a proud sponsor of this year’s Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonbrae Celebrity Shootout.
The Celebrity Shootout is a five-hole shootout where Bay Area athletes competed for $15,000 to give to the charity of their choosing. Many Bay Area sports franchises participated this year: Golden State Warriors, Oakland Athletics, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants and San Jose Earthquakes.
Lucky Supermarkets sold tickets for the Celebrity Shootout and all sales will benefit the Warriors Community Foundation’s Hoops for Kids program. The sales will be used to build a community basketball court serving children in San Francisco and Alameda counties. Community basketball court will be announced at a later date.
The Warriors Community Foundation is dedicated to impacting the lives of undeserved youth by supporting educational equity, creating safe and clean places for basketball in low income communities, and sharing the joy and excitement of Warriors home games with local school and nonprofits around the Bay Area.
