To celebrate the grand opening of its new location, the Ceres Save Mart made a few donations to local organizations and causes.
$500 checks went to Ag Boosters of Ceres, which encourages local high school students to take agricultural classes, and to the Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, which helps college students study business.
$500 gift cards went to Salvation Army Red Shield and the Ceres Christian Church.
