New Modesto Save Mart, located at the corner of Oakdale Rd. and Sylvan Ave., got in the Halloween spirit this past weekend by hosting a FREE pumpkin event!
The event gave away FREE pumpkins to the first 100 kids, 12 and under. The store set up decoration stations throughout the parking lot where children had the chance to decorate their pumpkins all afternoon. Community members also enjoyed trick-or-treating throughout the store!
The event also promoted a special “OH MY GOURD!” contest. Participants where asked to take a selfie and guess the weight of the BIG pumpkin stations outside the store. Community members lined up to take a selfie with pumpkin outside the store. Participants were then asked to send the selfies and their guesses to the contest web page. The winner will be announced at a later date.
