2009 Holiday Food Drive: The stores of Save Mart Supermarkets – Save Mart, S-Mart Foods, Lucky Supermarkets, and FoodMaxx – have launched the company’s annual Holiday Food Drive to support local food banks in Northern California and Northern Nevada. The drive, which welcomes donations from customers through January 5, last year collected the equivalent of more than 140,000 meals.
