In recognition of their outstanding dedication to the Oakdale community, the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce presented Oakdale Save Mart, located on E. “F” Street, the 2018 Large Business of the Year Award at the 73rd Annual Awards Dinner!
The ceremony, held on Friday, January 18th, 2019, recognized outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses that have contributed their time and efforts to enhance the community. Oakdale Save Mart is definitely a prime example of a store going above and beyond to help serve their community.
Each year, the store supports community events like the Taste of Oakdale, Chocolate Festival, Mid-Valley Cowbelles, Oakdale Rodeo and Parade and the California Team Roping Association. The store also sponsors the local Guardian House Fundraiser where they donate food and store team member’s serve to help make the event a success year after year. They also donate beef to the County High School’s culinary program, sponsored the Wounded Warriors Fishing Trip.
Oakdale Save Mart has even donated roughly $70,000 back to community organizations and local schools through the company’s Shares powered by eScrip program!
