The Save Mart Companies Makes Thanksgiving Affordable: 35¢/lb Turkeys, Complete Meals at $5-$6 Per Person, Special Seasonal Deals Throughout November

MODESTO, Calif. – November 18, 2025 – The Save Mart Companies, one of the West Coast's largest regional, full-service grocery chains, today announced its Thanksgiving meal savings program to help families cope with economic uncertainty and the rising costs of preparing a holiday meal. This savings initiative is on the heels of the company’s recently announced “Right By You” Affordability Promise. The companywide savings will run from November 19 through November 27 and beyond at Save Mart, Lucky, and FoodMaxx stores across California and Western Nevada.

“With so many families, friends, and neighbors in our communities facing financial hardship, we felt a responsibility to ensure they could enjoy a quality Thanksgiving meal at a truly affordable price,” said Jim Perkins, president of The Save Mart Companies. “35 cents a pound turkey, complete meals at $5 to $6 per person, $15 breakfast bundles, all proof that an affordable Thanksgiving is possible.”

Holiday Meal Deals (Nov. 19 to Nov. 27)

·       Lowest Priced Turkey Guarantee: Shoppers will find guaranteed lowest pricing on frozen Honeysuckle brand turkeys at an unbelievable $0.35 per pound, along with fresh Honeysuckle brand turkeys at $0.87 per pound, while supplies last.

·       Holiday Meal Program: A complete Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people—under $6 per person at Save Mart and Lucky, and under $5 per person at FoodMaxx. Includes turkey, potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls, and pie.

·       Breakfast Bundle: Save Mart and Lucky stores will offer a $15 holiday breakfast bundle that feeds four, featuring a dozen eggs, sausage, bacon and hashbrowns.

·       30% off Wine Sale: In response to the entertaining season, Save Mart and Lucky will be offering 30% off 750ml or larger wines when you buy 4 or more bottles. The sale covers a selection of approximately 600 wines in-store. Some exclusions apply.  

November Savings

·       Military Discount: Active service military members and military veterans can receive a 10% discount at Save Mart and Lucky, and a 5% discount at all FoodMaxx locations, on Monday, November 24. Some exclusions apply.

·       Free Private Label Eggs: From November 28 to December 2, Save Mart and Lucky shoppers can use a digital coupon to receive a free dozen Sunnyside Farms Brown Large Grade AA eggs when you spend $25 or more, while supplies last.

·       Christmas Tree Sale: As part of the company’s Black Friday sale, Save Mart, Lucky and FoodMaxx will be offering a $5 off coupon on fresh cut Christmas trees at participating locations starting November 19, while supplies last.

·       4X Rewards: Loyalty customers can receive 4x rewards on select items across the store, including canned vegetables, water, cereal, soda, energy drinks and more throughout the month of November.

The Save Mart Companies’ stores will be open on Thanksgiving until 6p.m.
