Sacramento Save Mart, located on 9137 Kiefer Blvd., came together and collected over $300 to buy six families at Golden Empire Elementary School a full Thanksgiving dinner!
The dinner boxes included all the traditional fixings for a Thanksgiving meal and some additional treats such as sparkling apple cider, desert of Pumpkin pie with cool whip, and even hot coco and marshmallows. The boxes were delivered to the school on the last day of school before Thanksgiving break.
“It was so great to see how excited the school was to receive this gift from Save Mart”, expressed Darian Caldeira, Save Mart store manager.
