Modesto, Calif.- Save Mart announced today that they will become the 2019 title sponsor of the Modesto Youth Soccer Association’s (MYSA) fall soccer season. With MYSA’s home soccer fields in close proximity to Save Mart’s new store, the company wanted to kick-off the soccer season with a strong community partnership.

Annually, MYSA provides over 2,000 children, between the ages of 4 and 18, the opportunity to play the fastest growing sport in the country, right in their hometown. Save Mart’s $35,000 donation will support all teams in the league and will provide soccer scholarships for children who would otherwise be unable to play due to financial limitations. In addition, all MYSA teams will be given a Save Mart branded cooler, which Save Mart will stock with water and snacks before each week’s game this season.

“We are thrilled to grow our partnership with MYSA this upcoming soccer season,” expressed Bobby McDowell, Vice President of Save Mart Store Operations. “Our goal is to nourish the communities we serve. It is an honor to be able to open the doors to the world of recreational soccer to so many children in the heart of the Central Valley.”

“We are grateful to partner with Save Mart for this upcoming youth soccer season,” said Carlos Zavala, Executive Director for Modesto Youth Soccer Association. “Thanks to their generous donation, children, who would not have been able to participate due to financial limitation, will now get the opportunity to play recreational soccer this fall with Modesto Youth Soccer Association.”
