Boy Scout troops have hit the streets selling Camp Cards, a bundle of coupons at local retailers. The entire collection of cards costs $5, and the boy scouts can earn up to 50% commission on each sale. The funds raised help boys who are unable to afford summer camp attend.
For the Camp Cards sold in the Sacramento and Modesto/Yosemite region, Save Mart offers a $10 off a $50 purchase coupon. Some parents report that the cards are selling faster this year because of Save Mart’s participation. In fact, Troop 22 in the Pony Express District says the boy scouts have replenished their stock twice and attribute this year’s popularity to the Save Mart coupon. “From all of us in the Scouting family, we thank you and look forward to the partnership moving forward,” they said.
