The three S-Mart Foods stores in Stockton are now called Save Mart. When the name became available in the market, the company jumped at the chance to be able to use the name.
To commemorate the occasion, the stores made a $500 donation to both Lincoln and Stagg High Schools. And to help further efforts to relieve hunger in the community, St. Mary’s Dining Room received a $500 gift card. The new Save Mart stores will continue to give back to local non-profits all year long through their Shares powered by eScrip program in which up to 3% of enrolled shopper purchases is donated to schools and non-profit organizations.
