Modesto Save Mart, located on 2100 Standiford Ave., was proud to present a check from the Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S. Foundation to The Board of Stanislaus Library Foundation.
Established in 1994, the Stanislaus Library Foundation supports the Stanislaus County Library whose thirteen branches serve communities throughout Stanislaus County. The Foundation supplements existing library funds through fundraising, grants and donors who wish to sponsor a specific project. The Foundation has received similar C.A.R.E.S. grants back in 2013 and 2017. This $1,000 grant will go towards the Summer Reading and E-Books programs.
CARES stands for Community, Arts, Recreation, Education and Sports and focuses on improving lives under these categories. The Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S.
