Save Mart stores in the Modesto-region have teamed up with Power Talk AM 1360 Radio to hold food drives at various locations in the two weeks leading up to Veterans Day. Operation Creekside and Veterans First will package the goods and send to our troops overseas.

Being so far away from home for extended periods of time, our military men and women appreciate small things that remind them of home. Pop tarts, granola bars, nuts, gum and jerky are the most requested items.

Not only can people drop off food, they can sign a gigantic card to wish the troops well. It’s the least we can do for all the sacrifices they make to keep America safe.
